To one side, I added the total amount of damage dealt during the battle. The M is for millions. The plus “+” sign means that I won the game, so it has potential to do more damage.

Inquisitor Rush Royale, Talents

Knight of Light (level9, left side)

Instead of an Inquisitor, Knights of Light appear on the field. Knights of Light receive a 2.5% damage increase for each boss killed. Additionally, merging any Inquisitor activates Knights of Light for 10 sec

Knight of Darkness (level 9, right side) Note: This page’s decks were tested with this talent only.

The first Inquisitor on the field will appear as a Knight of Darkness. A Knight of Darkness is always active and steals a merge rank from other Inquisitors on the field every 30 sec, increasing her damage by 6% for each rank absorbed. The bonus is reduced by 2.5% after you achieve 20 rank absorptions.

Purification (level 11, left side)

Activating Inquisitors removes negative effects from Knights and also increases their attack speed by 10% for 10 sec

Shield of Faith (level 11, right side).

Knights appear on the field with a shield that protects them against one negative effect. If there are no other Inquisitors on the field, the Knight will restore her shield in 3.5 seconds.

Ronin (level 13, left side)

If a Knight is alone on the field, her maximum damage limit increases to 800%

Unity (level 13, right side)

When there are 4+ Inquisitors on the field, their damage increases by 15%. If there are 7+ Inquisitors, their critical damage also increases by 35%. If there are 10+ Inquisitors, their critical chance also increases by 8%.

Hammer of Faith (level 15)

When attacking, active Knights have a 3% chance to summon a Hammer of Faith that stuns the target for 4 seconds and deals 777% damage. Once stunned, a target cannot be stunned again.

Inquisitor PvP Tips & Info

Inquisitor general tips

  • Place your Dark Inquisitor on a special tile if possible, preferably in a corner. It will take practice before you can do this consistently if you don’t run Portal Keeper.
  • You want to isolate your Inquisitor as much as possible, in order to avoid the Virus boss effect. An Inquisitor in a corner avoids the Monkey King boss stun.
  • An “absorption” counter will be visible on the Inquisitor image, at the bottom of the battle screen.
  • Remember to put on your best PvP equipment.

Other units and opponent tips

  • Bombardier stuns the enemies and avoids several of the bosses’ abilities.
  • Chemist weakens enemies so we can eliminate them faster.
  • Executioner finishes off damaged enemies when they have low HP.
  • Trapper temporarily weakens and slows the enemies with his traps. He can keep you alive while the Virus wears off.
  • Sharpshooter stuns your opponent’s units after he kills a mini or main boss.
  • Don’t neglect the above units’ rank. The bigger they are, the better.
  • Sword buffs your units’ damage and critical chance. It can also debuff your enemy’s units. An awakened/active Sword (level 9+) will automatically apply its effect every 15 seconds (with the correct talent).
  • Harlequin can help you obtain Swords much quicker.
  • When running Statue, make sure you know what to do if you get a third Statue. You will need to copy it with Harlequin, scrap it, or merge other units until you have an even number again.
  • Save mana before making changes to your board.
  • Bear in mind that without Keeper, it can be tough to get a Statue next to your Inquisitor.
  • Rank 1 units are very weak, and can be easily removed by negative effects. Rank 2 units are not much stronger, but will at least survive the Tribunal boss effect. Protect your awakened Swords!
  • Don’t mana rank up weak units (rank 1-2). The lower their rank, the less effect it has.
  • Remember that your opponent’s equipment can affect you. You can click on your opponent’s hero to see their equipment.
  • If your opponent has Witch, try to keep your Inquisitor lowish in rank in case it gets hit by the negative effect. In that case, and if we lack Keeper, we must make another Inquisitor and merge into or scrap the negative one asap.

A. PvP Inquisitor Rush Royale Dark Decks with Scrapper and Dryad

These decks are not easy to play because we lack Keeper to place our Inquisitor where we want it, or to remove a negative effect.

We must balance having more units on the board to avoid negative effects, or fewer units so that Scrapper can hit what we want it to.

We should focus on upgrading our Inquisitor to rank 5 with Dryad and to rank 7 with Scrapper. While ranking up your Inquisitor, keep all your Scrappers on the board to receive negative effects, like Pudding, Dark Priest, Warlock, Assassin, Lion, Witch, Sword, Sharpshooter, Shaman, etc…

We can start ranking up a support unit when our Inquisitor hits rank 5 or 6. But remember, Inquisitor must hit rank 7 at some point! If we leave it at rank 6, it will be a disaster if for example the Lion mini boss knocks it down to rank 5.

A2. INQUISITOR – Scrapper – Dryad – STATUE – SHARPSHOOTER

B. PvP Inquisitor Rush Royale Dark Decks with Portal Keeper and Dryad

Placing our Inquisitor where we want it, and later a Statue/Banner (if we run them) next to it, is easy with Keeper.

We should focus on upgrading our Inquisitor to at least rank 5 asap with Dryad. Ranking up to 5 is relatively easy, but 6 and above is tough.

We lack Harlequin, so Dryads will not be as abundant.

Try to fill the board with units to soak up any negative effects like Pudding, Dark Priest, Warlock, Assassin, Lion, Witch, Sword, Sharpshooter, Shaman, etc…

Try to have a Keeper of equal level at all times to move/cleanse our Inquisitor. At high ranks(6+), this is not that easy to do.

We can start ranking up a support unit (such as Chemist) when Inquisitor hits rank 5.

Be careful when your Inquisitor hits rank 6 without an equal level Keeper! We could lose to a negative effect such as Witch or Dark Priest.

C. PvP Inquisitor Rush Royale Dark Decks with Scrapper and Portal Keeper

With these decks, it’s slower to rank up our Inquisitor early, since we lack Dryad.

While ranking up your Inquisitor, keep all your Scrappers on the board to absorb any negative effects, like Pudding, Dark Priest, Warlock, Assassin, Lion, Witch, Sword, Sharpshooter, Shaman, etc…

Try to have a Keeper of equal level at all times to move/cleanse our Inquisitor. This is hard to do since we lack Dryad. Both at rank 7 would be ideal.

We can start ranking up a support unit (such as Statue) when Inquisitor hits rank 5.

Once the Inquisitor and other key units are rank 7, we can fill the board to try to avoid any negative effects.

C4. INQUISITOR – Scrapper – Keeper – STATUE – CHEMIST

D. PvP Inquisitor Rush Royale Dark Decks with Harlequin and Dryad

How to play

With these decks, we can rank up our Inquisitor early since we have Dryad. Harlequin is usually used to copy Dryad.

These decks are not easy to play because we lack Keeper to place our Inquisitor where we want it, or to remove a negative effect.

Save mana before trying to place a second Inquisitor in a better position.

Since we lack Scrapper, we can fill the board with random units to try to avoid any negative effects on our Inquisitor: Pudding, Dark Priest, Warlock, Assassin, Lion, Witch, Sword, Sharpshooter, Shaman, etc…

We should focus on upgrading our Inquisitor to at least rank 5 with Dryad asap. Try to keep a rank 1 Dryad on the board at all times, so we can copy it with Harlequin.

We can start ranking up a support unit when Inquisitor hits rank 5 or 6.

D10. INQUISITOR – Harlequin – Dryad – SWORD – TRAPPER

E. PvP Inquisitor Rush Royale Dark Decks with Harlequin and Scrapper

How to play

With these decks, it’s a bit slower to rank up our Inquisitor, since we lack Dryad.

These decks are not easy to play because we lack Keeper to place our Inquisitor where we want it, or to remove a negative effect. Placing your Inquisitor where you want it will require practice.

E4. INQUISITOR – Harlequin – Scrapper – STATUE – CHEMIST

Dark Inquisitor rush royale gameplay

F. PvP Inquisitor Rush Royale Dark Decks with Scrapper and Cauldron

How to play

With these decks, it’s a bit slower to rank up our Inquisitor, since we lack Dryad.

We should have plenty of mana in the mid and late game due to Cauldron.

These decks are not easy to play because we lack Keeper to place our Inquisitor where we want it, or to remove a negative effect. Placing your Inquisitor where you want it will require practice.

You can leave a couple of Cauldrons on board to generate mana for a few seconds, before you scrap them. We usually don’t want Scrapper to hit Cauldron at the start of the game.

We can start ranking up a support unit when our Inquisitor hits rank 5 or 6. But remember, Inquisitor must hit rank 7 quickly! If we leave it at rank 6, it will be a disaster if for example the Lion mini boss knocks it down to rank 5.

Once your Inquisitor is rank 7 you have a bit more freedom to leave key support units on board and have Scrapper rank them up. Once key support units such as Statue are maxed, we can fill the board with other units.

G. PvP Inquisitor Rush Royale Dark Decks with Dryad and Cauldron

How to play

With these decks, we can rank up our Inquisitor early, since we run Dryad.

We should have plenty of mana in the mid and late game due to Cauldron.

These decks are not easy to play since we lack Keeper to place our Inquisitor where we want it, or to remove a negative effect. Placing your Inquisitor where you want it will require practice.

If needed, we can start ranking up support units when Inquisitor hits rank 5. But remember, Inquisitor must hit rank 6 quickly! If we leave it at rank 5, it will be a disaster if for example the Lion mini boss knocks it down to rank 4.

You should leave enough Cauldrons on board to maintain a steady flow of mana at all times. If you have too much mana, you can merge some of them.

Getting our Inquisitor to rank 7 without Scrapper is pretty hard in my experience.

H. PvP Other Inquisitor Rush Royale Dark Decks

How to play

These decks only run one key support unit (in CAPS) to weaken our enemies and/or buff our Inquisitor.

We must make sure we rank up our Inquisitor asap and then focus on our support unit.

If we lack Scrapper, we should fill the board with units to soak up any negative effects like Pudding, Dark Priest, Warlock, Assassin, Lion, Witch, Sword, Sharpshooter, Shaman, etc…

Getting our Inquisitor to rank 7 without Scrapper is pretty hard, in my experience.
