Inquisitor is a challenging unit to play, specially with just one talent. Check out these Inquisitor Rush Royale Light talent decks for PVP! I tested many different deck variations at around 5000+ trophies, with my level 10 Inquisitor. Some decks were tested multiple times. You can see my results here, together with screenshots and how-to-play info. Remember that it’s not just about winning or losing, but also about how much total damage we did.
Have fun playing these Light talent decks!

Inquisitor Rush Royale, Talents
Knight of Light (level9, left side) Note: This page’s decks were tested with this talent only.
Instead of an Inquisitor, Knights of Light appear on the field. Knights of Light receive a 2.5% damage increase for each boss killed. Additionally, merging any Inquisitor activates Knights of Light for 10 sec
Knight of Darkness (level 9, right side)
The first Inquisitor on the field will appear as a Knight of Darkness. A Knight of Darkness is always active and steals a merge rank from other Inquisitors on the field every 30 sec, increasing her damage by 6% for each rank absorbed. The bonus is reduced by 2.5% after you achieve 20 rank absorptions.
Purification (level 11, left side)
Activating Inquisitors removes negative effects from Knights and also increases their attack speed by 10% for 10 sec
Shield of Faith (level 11, right side).
Knights appear on the field with a shield that protects them against one negative effect. If there are no other Inquisitors on the field, the Knight will restore her shield in 3.5 seconds.
Ronin (level 13, left side)
If a Knight is alone on the field, her maximum damage limit increases to 800%
Unity (level 13, right side)
When there are 4+ Inquisitors on the field, their damage increases by 15%. If there are 7+ Inquisitors, their critical damage also increases by 35%. If there are 10+ Inquisitors, their critical chance also increases by 8%.
Hammer of Faith (level 15)
When attacking, active Knights have a 3% chance to summon a Hammer of Faith that stuns the target for 4 seconds and deals 777% damage. Once stunned, a target cannot be stunned again.
Inquisitor PvP Tips & Info
Inquisitor general tips
- Place your Light Inquisitors on a special tile if possible, preferably in a corner. It will take practice before you can do this consistently if you don’t run Portal Keeper.
- You want to isolate your Inquisitors as much as possible, in order to avoid the Virus boss effect. An Inquisitor in a corner avoids the Monkey King boss stun.
- Remember to wear your best PvP equipment.
Other units and opponent tips
- Bombardier stuns the enemies and avoids several of the bosses’ abilities.
- Chemist weakens enemies so we can eliminate them faster.
- Executioner finishes off damaged enemies when they have low HP.
- Trapper temporarily weakens and slows the enemies with his traps. He can keep you alive while the Virus wears off.
- Sharpshooter stuns your opponent’s units after he kills a mini or main boss.
- Don’t neglect the above units’ rank. The bigger they are, the better.
- Sword buffs your units’ damage and critical chance. It can also debuff your enemy’s units. An awakened/active Sword (level 9+) will automatically apply its effect every 15 seconds (with the correct talent).
- Harlequin can help you obtain Swords much quicker.
- When running Statue, make sure you know what to do if you get a third Statue. You will need to copy it with Harlequin, scrap it, or merge other units until you have an even number again.
- Save a lot of mana before making changes to your board.
- Bear in mind that without Keeper, it can be tough to get a Statue/Banner next to your Inquisitor.
- Rank 1 units are very weak, and can be easily removed by negative effects. Rank 2 units are not much stronger, but will at least survive the Tribunal boss effect. Protect your awakened Swords!
- Don’t mana rank up weak units (rank 1-2). The lower their rank, the less effect it has.
- Remember that your opponent’s equipment can affect you. You can click on your opponent’s hero to see their equipment.
- If your opponent has Witch, try to keep your Inquisitor lowish in rank in case it gets hit by the negative effect. In that case, and if we lack Keeper, we must make another Inquisitor and merge into or scrap the negative one asap.
A. PvP Inquisitor Rush Royale Light Decks with Scrapper and Dryad
How to play
These decks are not easy to play because we lack Keeper to place our Inquisitor where we want it, or to remove a negative effect.
We must balance having more units on the board to avoid negative effects, or fewer units so that Scrapper can hit what we want it to.
You can try to make a bigger Inquisitor by merging other units. If successful, we can scrap a rank 1 Inquisitor.
First use Dryad to upgrade your units, then use Scrapper. While ranking up your Inquisitors, you can keep your Scrappers on the board to receive negative effects, like Pudding, Dark Priest, Warlock, Assassin, Lion, Witch, Sword, Sharpshooter, Shaman, etc…
Make a rank 2 Scrapper with Dryad.
Don’t forget to rank up at least one of each support unit after your Inquisitors.
If we leave an Inquisitor at rank 1, it could be problematic if for example the Lion mini boss hits it.

B. PvP Inquisitor Rush Royale Light Decks with Portal Keeper and Dryad
How to play
Placing our Inquisitor where we want it, and later a Statue/Banner (if we run them) next to it, is easier with Keeper.
You can try to make bigger Inquisitors by merging other units. Make sure you have mana saved up before attempting this.
We should focus on upgrading our Inquisitors asap with Dryad. We lack Harlequin, so Dryads will not be as abundant.
Try to fill the board with units to soak up any negative effects like Pudding, Dark Priest, Warlock, Assassin, Lion, Witch, Sword, Sharpshooter, Shaman, etc…
Try to have a Keeper of equal rank to move/cleanse our biggest Inquisitors. At higher ranks, this is not that easy to do.
Don’t forget to rank up at least one of each support unit after your Inquisitors.
If we leave an Inquisitor at rank 1, it could be problematic if for example the Lion mini boss hits it.
Rank your units up before you need to, not when you are losing on a tough wave.

D. PvP Inquisitor Rush Royale Light Decks with Harlequin and Dryad
How to play
With these decks, we can rank up our Inquisitors early, since we have Dryad. Harlequin is usually used to copy Dryad.
These decks are not easy to play because we lack Keeper to place our Inquisitors where we want them, or to remove a negative effect.
You can try to make bigger Inquisitors by merging other units. Make sure you have mana saved up before attempting this.
Since we lack Scrapper, we can fill the board with random units to try to avoid any negative effects on our Inquisitor: Pudding, Dark Priest, Warlock, Assassin, Lion, Witch, Sword, Sharpshooter, Shaman, etc…

F. PvP Inquisitor Rush Royale Light Decks with Scrapper and Cauldron
How to play
With these decks, it’s a bit slower to rank up our Inquisitor, since we lack Dryad.
We should have plenty of mana in the early, mid and late game due to Cauldron.
These decks are not easy to play because we lack Keeper to place our Inquisitor where we want it, or to remove a negative effect. Placing your Inquisitor where you want it will require practice.
You can try to make a bigger Inquisitor by merging other units. If successful, we can scrap a rank 1 Inquisitor.
We have to balance having more units on the board to avoid negative effects, or fewer units so that Scrapper can hit what we want it to.
You can leave a couple of Cauldrons on board to generate mana for a few seconds, before you scrap them. We usually don’t want Scrapper to hit Cauldron at the start of the game.
For the mid-game, we want one big Cauldron producing mana.
Keep your Scrappers on the board to receive negative effects, like Pudding, Dark Priest, Warlock, Assassin, Lion, Witch, Sword, Sharpshooter, Shaman, etc…

You should leave enough Cauldrons on board to maintain a steady flow of mana at all times. If you have too much mana, you can merge some of them.
Don’t forget to rank up at least one of each support unit after your Inquisitors.

H. PvP Other Inquisitor Rush Royale Light Decks
How to play
These decks only run one key support unit (in CAPS) to weaken our enemies and/or buff our Inquisitors.
We must make sure we rank up our Inquisitors asap and then focus on our support unit.
If we lack Scrapper, we should fill the board with units to soak up any negative effects like Pudding, Dark Priest, Warlock, Assassin, Lion, Witch, Sword, Sharpshooter, Shaman, etc…
